<strong>Schiavello Architects Office &#8211; SAO<\/strong> gana este prestigioso premio: en el a\u00f1o 2012 con el Proyecto \u00abEstrellas de mar\u00bb por la ciudad de Tropea (Calabria Regi\u00f3n) y por esta 18\u00ba edici\u00f3n con el <strong>Proyecto Waterfront<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El Proyecto Waterfont pretende convertir una antigua zona industrial situada en el paseo mar\u00edtimo de Soverato (regi\u00f3n italiana de Calabria), un \u00e1rea que ahora est\u00e1 abandonada y no integrada con el entorno urbano.<\/p>\n<p>El Arquitecto Schiavello describe su trabajo como un \u00abca\u00f1\u00f3n\u00bb, que est\u00e1 modelado por las olas y el viento, por lo que se convierten en \u00abla arquitectura\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Este parque urbano traer\u00eda nueva vida a la ciudad de Soverato, a trav\u00e9s de la fusi\u00f3n de la naturaleza, de la cultura y del comercio en un mismo espacio social. El proyecto, adem\u00e1s de la creaci\u00f3n de un nuevo centro cultural, tiene como objetivo ofrecer un espacio dedicado a la comercializaci\u00f3n de los productos regional artesan\u00edas, a trav\u00e9s de \u00abtiendas temporales\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>La tiendas temporales son una estrategia de marketing relativamente nueva. Su fuerza reside en parte en la propuesta al p\u00fablico de productos \u00fanicos, locales, regionales y podr\u00eda dar entrada a las actividades de todos los peque\u00f1os productores, en un lugar estrat\u00e9gico de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, el Arquitecto Schiavello tiene mucha experiencia, desarrollada a trav\u00e9s de estudios a nivel europeo en el campo de la gesti\u00f3n de proyectos complejos y gracias a su participaci\u00f3n en la iniciativa de planificaci\u00f3n del proyecto por la Oficina Fuksas para la nueva sede del \u00abMuseo Piaggio\u00bb, en las antiguas instalaciones de la f\u00e1brica de Pontedera (cerca de Pisa).<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>English version<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Project of the Architect Francesco Schiavello for the redevelopment, in the city of Soverato, of the area were the closed factory \u00abComac\u00bb was situated, wins the \u00ab20+10+X World Architecture Community Award\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The award, organized by the online community \u00abWorld Architecture &#8211; WA\u00bb, aims to highlight and publish remarkable projects worldwide that present characters of Novelty, Originality and Creativity.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The selection procedure of more than 9,000 candidates worldwide, follows two complementary procedures: one based on the on-line voting of the members of the WA Community, the other on the votes of an honorary jury, composed of a panel of international experts.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This is the second time that the young \u00abSchiavello Architects Office &#8211; SAO\u00bb wins this prestigious award: in 2012 with the Starfish Project for the town of Tropea (Calabria Region) and for this 18th edition with the \u00abWaterfront\u00bb Project.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Waterfont Project aims to convert a former industrial area located on the seafront of Soverato (Italian Region of Calabria), an area that is now abandoned and not integrated with the surrounding urban context.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Architect Schiavello describes his work as a \u00abcanyon\u00bb which is modeled by waves and wind, so to become \u00abarchitecture\u00bb.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>This urban park would bring new life to the city of Soverato, merging nature, culture and commerce in a single social space. The project, beside creating a new cultural center, aims at offering a space dedicated to the marketing of regional \u00abfood and non- food\u00bb handcrafts, through \u00abtemporary shops\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The temporary shop \u00abare a relatively new marketing strategy, but are now a reality in America, England and elsewhere in Europe. Their strength lies in part in the proposal to the public of unique, local, regional products and could give input to the activities of all small producers, in a strategic place of the city&#8217;s waterfront.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Former industrial areas, military equipments, public markets, railway stations, ports are producing the most significant urban transformation projects; these are the places, among others, where architecture, urban planning and economy find their most significant moment of synthesis.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In this context, the Architect Schiavello has a well founded expertise, developed through studies at European level in the field of management of complex projects and thanks to his participation in the project planning lead by the Fuksas Office for the new
