Architecture (planta 3\u00ba piso)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de los requerimientos program\u00e1ticos del cliente, el requerimiento m\u00e1s importante era que la <strong>distribuci\u00f3n de los distintos espacios<\/strong> de la casa, tanto exteriores como interiores, respondiera a la <strong>filosof\u00eda Vastu<\/strong>. Esta filosof\u00eda establece una <strong>determinada orientaci\u00f3n para las estancias<\/strong> as\u00ed como reglas a seguir en cuanto a <strong>accesos, conexiones y comunicaciones verticales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De este modo, se sit\u00faa la entrada peatonal por el lado Noreste de la parcela convirti\u00e9ndose este <strong>eje <\/strong>en el principal en toda la casa y organiz\u00e1ndose en \u00e9l todas las comunicaciones. As\u00ed, la <strong>escalera<\/strong> se convierte en el elemento protagonista y, a modo de cremallera, organiza las relaciones entre las estancias que se sit\u00faan a ambos lados de la misma. El dise\u00f1o de la escalera, tratada como un <strong>elemento escult\u00f3rico<\/strong>, y el<strong> tratamiento de la luz<\/strong> en este <strong>espacio central <\/strong>enfatizan la importancia de este eje como <strong>elemento generador y \u00abcoraz\u00f3n\u00bb de la casa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El programa de la vivienda se organiza de forma que los espacios principales de estar as\u00ed como el dormitorio principal se sit\u00faan en la planta primera, la \u00abplanta noble\u00bb de la casa, situando otras salas de estar, m\u00e1s vinculados al jard\u00edn, junto con el gimnasio en planta baja acompa\u00f1ados de habitaciones de servicio y una peque\u00f1a oficina.<\/p>\n<p>El resto de dormitorios se sit\u00faan en la <strong>planta segunda <\/strong>y la <strong>tercera<\/strong> se reserva para el dormitorio de invitados, un estudio, y una<strong> gran terraza <\/strong>vinculada a un peque\u00f1o sal\u00f3n (\u00ablounge\u00bb), espacios muy importantes en la cultura india y muy usados en un clima c\u00e1lido como el de Chennai.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto al <strong>dise\u00f1o exterior<\/strong>, se plantea una fachada de estuco blanco con elementos de madera buscando un aspecto dom\u00e9stico a trav\u00e9s de la <strong>combinaci\u00f3n de tradici\u00f3n y modernidad<\/strong>. El elemento central ocupado por la escalera se manifiesta al exterior funcionando como un <strong>elemento \u00abcharnela\u00bb<\/strong> al dividir la casa en dos vol\u00famenes que a su vez descomponen generando una serie de <strong>voladizos<\/strong> hacia la entrada, dotando de una escala m\u00e1s urbana a esta fachada y creando un espacio de acogida. (585.3 m2) that are organized in 4 levels. Besides the programmatic requirements of the client, their most important requirement was that the distribution of the different areas of the house, both exterior and interior, responds to Vastu&#8217;s philosophy. This philosophy provides a specific orientation for the rooms and also the rules to follow in terms of access, connections and vertical communications.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Thus, the pedestrian entrance is located on the northeast side of the plot becoming the main axis in the whole house and all the communications are organized around it. Thus, the staircase becomes the protagonist element and, as a zipper, organizes the relations between rooms that are located on both sides thereof. The design of the stairs, treated as a sculptural element, and the treatment of light in this central space emphasizes the importance of this axis as a generator element and the houses &#8216;heart&#8217;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The house&#8217;s distribution is organized in a way were the main living spaces and the master bedroom are located on the first level, the &#8216;noble floor&#8217; of the house, placing the other living rooms, more linked to the garden, along with the gym downstairs accompanied by service rooms and a small office. The other bedrooms are located on the second level and the third is reserved for the guest bedroom, a study and a large terrace linked to a small lounge, very important spaces for the Indian culture and widely used in a warm climate like Chennai&#8217;s.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As for the exterior design, a white stucco facade with wood elements is presented, looking for a domestic aspect through the combination of tradition and modernity. The central element occupied by the stairs is manifested as a &#8216;flapper&#8217; to divide the house into two volumes which in turn decompose generating a series of cantilevered toward the entrance, giving a more urban scale and creating a welcoming space. The garden also becomes paramount in the house, visually expanded because of the lush vegetation of the neighboring plot.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px;
