La imagen de Embolao tiene su origen directamente en la morfolog\u00eda del producto base, la masa embolada \u00abegg waffle\u00bb. Una masa vertida en una plancha met\u00e1lica compuesta por dos superficies conformadas por medias esferas huecas, que, al juntarse y girarse durante el proceso de cocci\u00f3n, con la masa l\u00edquida entre ellas, dan lugar a su solidificaci\u00f3n con una estructura de panal compuesto por bolas.<\/p>\n<p>Para este proyecto, trasladamos directamente la formaci\u00f3n de la masa \u00abembolada\u00bb al concepto arquitect\u00f3nico. Ubicado en el barrio de Chueca en Madrid, y con un sistema de venta de producto \u00abtake -away\u00bb, la superficie del local cuenta con 15 m2 en planta calle (objeto de la intervenci\u00f3n), y otra similar en planta s\u00f3tano, dedicada al almacenamiento y uso privado.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-36040 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure sistema arquitect\u00f3nico aplicado en el local, genere una imagen potente y reconocible, y adem\u00e1s, pueda ser f\u00e1cilmente reproductible y aplicable en diferentes locales de caracter\u00edsticas similares por un coste limitado. Para ello, propusimos un sistema prefabricado compuesto por objetos y elementos cotidianos descontextualizados e integrados como parte del mecanismo proyectual. Busc\u00e1bamos tambi\u00e9n la interacci\u00f3n del usuario con el espacio, y que fuese un hito fotografiable y atractivo para redes sociales.<\/p>\n<p>Ya que nuestro objetivo arquitect\u00f3nico era trasladar radicalmente el concepto gastron\u00f3mico y la formalizaci\u00f3n del \u00abEmbolao\u00bb, creamos una envolvente interior en forma de b\u00f3veda, revestida con bolas de pl\u00e1stico de 8 cm de di\u00e1metro (utilizadas tradicionalmente para piscinas de bolas en los parques infantiles), fijadas por presi\u00f3n en un panelado negro (dm de alta densidad te\u00f1ido en masa), que funciona como soporte y de fondo contrastado, para conseguir la m\u00e1xima visibilidad de las esferas. As\u00ed generamos, un sistema conformado en taller, con uniones mec\u00e1nicas en seco, de f\u00e1cil montaje y r\u00e1pida implantaci\u00f3n en obra.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery The egg-waffle is cooked on a hot griddle, a special frying pan with small round cells. The griddle is set on hot coals in the fire, while the batter is poured over the special frying pan and heated; small ovals of egg waffles are formed. For this project, we directly transformed the dough \u00abEmbolada\u00bb to the architectonic concept.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Embolao is located in the Chueca neighborhood, in downtown Madrid. Embolao is based on the concept of \u00abtake-away\u00bb street food. The surface of the local is 15m2 and it also has a utilities basement for personal use.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Embolao, has an architectonic system that is applied to the surrounding of the local, creating a distinctive and recognizable area due to the resembling spheres that were easily placed. For this, we used a prefabricated type of object which is decontextualized and part of the mechanism.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We were also looking for the interaction of the space as well as creating an area that would be attractive enough to take pictures for social media platforms.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Since our architectonic objective consisted in transforming drastically our culinary concept and creating Embolao, we therefore decided to design a space surrounded by a diameter of 8 cm plastic balls, that were inserted on a black panel, that works as the support base, and which portrays the white plastic balls perfectly since they stand out on the black background. In this way we conformed an attractive spot, which was quick and uncomplicated to embed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In order to complete the \u00abEmbolao\u00bb world, we decided to use a 5mm thickness black rubber floor. The \u00abgummy\u00bb effect of the floor made the vibe and perception of the customer to be more enjoyable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>All the activity of the shop takes place around a table\/counter on
