Sin embargo, una tendencia que crece d\u00eda a d\u00eda es la instalaci\u00f3n de equipos solares en los techos de las viviendas, que transmiten la radiaci\u00f3n solar contenida en el panel o tubo solar directamente como calor al agua. Este tipo de soluciones ofrecen mayor eficiencia y confort.<\/p>\n<p>El uso de este tipo de energ\u00eda renovable es una pr\u00e1ctica aconsejada para diversificar la matriz energ\u00e9tica y para hacer un consumo m\u00e1s eficiente en los hogares. Sin embargo, es insuficiente. La energ\u00eda generada \u00fanicamente por equipos solares no alcanza para calentar el agua que una casa necesita durante todo el a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Dependiendo de la calidad de los equipos solares y su correcta instalaci\u00f3n (orientaci\u00f3n, pendiente, sin sombras proyectadas, etc.), se podr\u00e1 calentar hasta un 70% del agua necesaria para el consumo de un a\u00f1o. El otro 30% lo deber\u00e1 aportar un equipo tradicional. Una buena formula ser\u00eda, por ejemplo, un equipo solar de 70% de rendimiento, que genere agua caliente por acumulaci\u00f3n, y una caldera a gas de m\u00e1s del 93% de rendimiento, que genere instant\u00e1neamente agua caliente solo cuando es necesario.<\/p>\n<p>Las calderas preparadas para trabajar en conjunto con sistemas de energ\u00eda solar incorporan tecnolog\u00eda que le permite al t\u00e9cnico o instalador setear el equipo para que cuando se necesite agua caliente sanitaria (cuando se abre el grifo), se retrase el aviso de encendido a la caldera, posibilitando que llegue el agua precalentada por el sistema solar.<\/p>\n<p>En ese momento, la caldera puede detectar la temperatura del agua y decidir si es necesario: a) encenderse si la temperatura no es suficiente, b) usar solo el agua precalentada por el sol (si est\u00e1 de acuerdo con la temperatura deseada), o c) mezclar el agua proveniente del sistema solar con agua corriente a temperatura ambiente, para enfriarla. Este procedimiento, que no requiere m\u00e1s de 5 segundos, adem\u00e1s reduce los arranques del quemador y del forzador de la salida de humos de la caldera.<\/p>\n<p>Toda esta tecnolog\u00eda aplicada a esta soluci\u00f3n mixta, representa un ahorro anual del 75% en energ\u00eda y 70% en el consumo de gas utilizado para agua caliente.<\/p>\n<p>Nota por <strong>Sebasti\u00e1n
