Estrat\u00e9gicamente ubicada en un predio esquinado en la zona poniente de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, la casa responde a tres premisas principales: la conservaci\u00f3n de los \u00e1rboles existentes del terreno como elementos centrales del proyecto, la creaci\u00f3n de privacidad y aislamiento, considerando el flujo vehicular inmediato, y la integraci\u00f3n de un amplio programa monol\u00edtica y casi ciega hacia la calle, interrumpida s\u00f3lo con vanos en m\u00f3dulos espec\u00edficos que crean efectos de iluminaci\u00f3n y ventilaci\u00f3n id\u00f3neos respondiendo as\u00ed al programa arquitect\u00f3nico interior. Por su parte, la fachada sur se abre completamente hacia el jard\u00edn y hacia los \u00e1rboles existentes, inyectando luz al interior de la casa y dot\u00e1ndola de vistas naturales en todas las \u00e1reas habitables.<\/p>\n<p>La casa responde a un orden compuesto por basamento, cuerpo y remate, que se evidencia al exterior por medio de elementos estructurales de concreto blanco aparente que coronan vanos a manera de cerramientos, y que definen los niveles de la casa. El despiece de la piedra caliza que recubre las fachadas es resultado de la modulaci\u00f3n que rige la volumetr\u00eda y, en s\u00ed misma, responde a un trazo que dota a la fachada de un ritmo dentro del ensamblaje de sus elementos.<\/p>\n<p>El acceso a la vivienda sucede de manera lateral al volumen principal. Un umbral de transici\u00f3n, a manera de r\u00f3tula de conexi\u00f3n entre exterior e interior, conduce hacia la entrada principal. El espacio central compuesto por sala, comedor y cocina se abre hacia el jard\u00edn, donde se encuentra el orgulloso elemento central de este proyecto: un imponente Pirul de tres troncos con m\u00e1s de medio siglo de vida.<\/p>\n<p>La circulaci\u00f3n vertical conduce en un primer nivel a las \u00e1reas m\u00e1s privadas de la casa, siempre enmarcadas por la vegetaci\u00f3n exterior. El segundo nivel invita a la terraza principal, coronada por una p\u00e9rgola de concreto blanco que se entreteje con la copa del \u00e1rbol, provocando un entramado de luz y sombra sobre los materiales de este espacio.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed se define la intenci\u00f3n de descubrir en secuencia las vistas siempre verdes del proyecto, y al mismo tiempo, desvanecer los l\u00edmites entre arquitectura y el contexto natural inmediato.<\/p>\n<p>La neutralidad de la paleta interior, en conjunto con la naturalidad de la luz, generan una calidad espacial donde se promueve la calma enfatizando as\u00ed el car\u00e1cter residencial del proyecto. It responds to three key premises: the preservation of previously existing trees as core elements of the project, the isolation from the street&#8217;s inherent transit, and the incorporation of an ample architectural program on a plot with limited dimensions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Within its clearly urban environment, the sense of privacy is successfully achieved thanks to a monolithic and nearly blind fa\u00e7ade which extends out the street, only interrupted by some openings at specific modules for lighting and ventilation purposes, which respond to the interior&#8217;s architectural design plan. In contrast, the South fa\u00e7ade is more open, offering a broad view of the garden and its long-standing trees, while it bathes the interior of the house in light and provides natural landscapes to each and every habitable area.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The house responds to a structural order consisting of base, body, and capital. Its exterior evinces such order through the use of white exposed concrete structural elements that crown the openings, work as enclosures, and clearly define the house&#8217;s levels. The limestone articulation covering the fa\u00e7ade is the result of its distribution, which regulates the architectural volume and, in itself, responds to a canvas that adds rhythm within the fa\u00e7ade&#8217;s assemblage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A transition threshold that works as a hinge-connection between the exterior and the interior leads to the main entrance situated on one of the sides of the construction. The central space consisting of living room, dining room, and kitchen opens up to a full view of the garden and its impressive visual core element: a three-trunk Peruvian Peppertree, which proudly steals the spotlight as this land&#8217;s five-decade guardian.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The vertical circulation indicates the path towards the family area and the most private areas of the house, always framed by exterior garden views.
