BAS (Basic &amp; Simple) es una marca de indumentaria uruguaya que naci\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2012 como la propuesta textil de la cadena de supermercados Ta-Ta.<\/p>\n<p>Se distingue por una est\u00e9tica muy marcada en sus prendas destinadas a toda la familia: alegre, colorida, funcional y c\u00f3moda. Simple) \/ Contract Workplaces (\u00a9 Santiago Chaer)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Desde el primer espacio que se inaugur\u00f3, el concepto original de dise\u00f1o -basado en un ambiente iluminado, colores pastel y decoraci\u00f3n con madera natural, animada y vistosa, junto con un \u00e1rea infantil que simula un espacio al aire libre- se replic\u00f3 sin cambios en todas las sucursales. No obstante, hoy, tanto la distribuci\u00f3n como el estilo visual lucen desactualizados, surgiendo as\u00ed la necesidad de renovarlos.<\/p>\n<p>Es por esto que, a la hora de reubicar el local dentro del Shopping Tres Cruces de Montevideo, la marca decidi\u00f3 confiar en Contract Workplaces para encarar una propuesta de renovaci\u00f3n que incluy\u00f3 un cambio de layout y una modernizaci\u00f3n del estilo y la imagen, con las prendas como protagonistas.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto se desarroll\u00f3 sobre una superficie total de 290 m2 que, adem\u00e1s del showroom, incluye probadores y \u00e1reas de apoyo. El objetivo fue lograr una est\u00e9tica m\u00e1s contempor\u00e1nea y despojada, siguiendo las nuevas tendencias del retail que colocan el producto como principal atractivo.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la configuraci\u00f3n del layout, se mantuvo la organizaci\u00f3n en \u00abmundos\u00bb que caracteriza a todas las tiendas de la marca, dentro de los cuales se incluyen distintos recorridos: ni\u00f1o, ni\u00f1a, mujer y hombre. En esta ocasi\u00f3n, el cliente deseaba enfocarse en los reci\u00e9n nacidos, un segmento que ha tenido mucho \u00e9xito y necesitaba mayor desarrollo.<\/p>\n<p>Para exhibir la ropa se instalaron cenefas de las que cuelgan los percheros perimetrales, donde el color del fondo otorga identidad a cada \u00abmundo\u00bb: textura de madera para las secciones de mujer y hombre, y rayas de distintos colores seg\u00fan la edad para la secci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Este uso de la paleta crom\u00e1tica, junto con el colorido de las prendas, contrasta con el resto de la tienda donde el cielorraso, los muros, el pavimento y todos los accesorios son completamente blancos. Cada sector se complet\u00f3 con tarimas, percheros de diferentes alturas, mesas, exhibidores y estanter\u00edas varias.<\/p>\n<p>En el \u00abmundo\u00bb dedicado a los ni\u00f1os, se delimit\u00f3 un espacio para que puedan sentarse, pintar, leer o jugar mientras el resto de la familia compra en la tienda. Un suelo vin\u00edlico verde con forma org\u00e1nica define esta zona, donde se integraron una figura escult\u00f3rica de madera que representa un \u00e1rbol y una mesa infantil del mismo material.<\/p>\n<p>A diferencia del resto del local, que mantiene los techos altos con la losa a la vista pintada de blanco, en la secci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os se aplic\u00f3 un cielorraso m\u00e1s bajo con nubes colgantes para crear un ambiente m\u00e1s acogedor.<\/p>\n<p>En el sector de caja se dise\u00f1\u00f3 un mueble amplio cuya superficie ofrece espacio suficiente para doblar y empaquetar la ropa de manera ordenada. Frente a este mueble se coloc\u00f3 un exhibidor para productos de compra por impulso antes de llegar al mostrador de pago.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la iluminaci\u00f3n, se dise\u00f1\u00f3 un alumbrado general y uniforme en todo el espacio con focos montados en rieles que pueden direccionarse para crear puntos de inter\u00e9s. Adem\u00e1s, se mejor\u00f3 la luz en los probadores y se utilizaron l\u00e1mparas decorativas de papel para crear acentos en las mesas de exhibici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La entrada al local se renov\u00f3 completamente con una fachada abierta, carteler\u00eda flotante retroiluminada para aprovechar al m\u00e1ximo el p\u00f3rtico y detalles en lamas de madera con iluminaci\u00f3n LED. It stands out for its strong, recognizable aesthetic across garments for the whole family: cheerful, colorful, functional, and comfortable. Thanks to its strong reception among customers, the brand opened its first standalone stores in 2016 and now operates over 25 locations throughout the country.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Since the opening of its first store, the original design concept-featuring a bright atmosphere, pastel colors, natural wood decoration, and a playful, outdoor-themed kids&#8217; area- has been replicated across all branches without changes. However, both the layout and visual style now appear outdated, prompting the need for a refresh.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When the time came to relocate the store within Montevideo\u2019s Tres Cruces Shopping Mall, BAS entrusted Contract Workplaces with the task of developing a renewal proposal that included a revamped layout and a modernized style and brand image, placing the clothing at the center of attention.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The project was developed over a total area of 290 m2, including the showroom, fitting rooms, and support areas. The goal was to achieve a more contemporary and minimalist aesthetic, in line with new retail trends that highlight the product as the main visual focus.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As for the layout configuration, the store maintained its signature \u00abworlds\u00bb organization -dedicated sections for boys, girls, women, and men- each offering distinct browsing paths. This time, the client aimed to focus particularly on the newborn segment, which has seen great success and required further development.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>To display the clothing, perimeter racks were installed hanging from overhead canopies, with background colors giving each \u00abworld\u00bb a distinct identity: wood texture for the women&#8217;s and men&#8217;s sections, and multicolored stripes by age group in the kids&#8217; section.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This color palette, combined with the vibrancy of the garments, contrasts with the rest of the store where the ceiling, walls, flooring, and fixtures are entirely white. Each area is complemented by platforms, racks of various heights, tables, display units, and shelving.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In the kids&#8217; \u00abworld,\u00bb a dedicated play area was created where children can sit, color, read, or play while their family shops. This area is defined by a green vinyl floor in an organic shape, featuring a sculptural wooden tree and a child-sized table in the same material.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Unlike the rest of the store -which maintains high ceilings with the slab painted white- this section has a lower ceiling with hanging cloud elements to create a more welcoming atmosphere.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The checkout area features a large counter with ample surface space to fold and pack garments neatly. In front of this counter, a display unit was added to showcase impulse-buy items before reaching the payment desk.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Regarding lighting, the space features a uniform general lighting scheme using track-mounted spotlights that can be directed to create focal points. Lighting was also enhanced in the fitting rooms, and decorative paper lamps were placed over the display tables to create visual accents.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The store entrance was completely redesigned with an open fa\u00e7ade, floating backlit signage to maximize the portal space, and wood slat details with integrated LED lighting.
