ARKxSITE convoca al Concurso internacional de arquitectura Site Dwelling. El registro al mismo cierra el 30 de enero de 2017.
La convocatoria está dirigida a estudiantes de arquitectura, jóvenes arquitectos y profesionales con estudios afines a la arquitectura menores a 40 años.
El objetivo es desarrollar ideas de diseño para alojamiento ubicado en el acantilado de la bahía de Salir do Porto, Portugal.

The SITE DWELLING, located on the cliff of the bay, in the village of Salir do Porto, Portugal, aims to create a secluded destination, a place of retreat to engage with the landscape while providing shelter from the natural elements.
This is a place to stay and inhabit for a few days, offering visitors a unique experience in a very special setting; visitors must leave the space as they found it, empty.
This international one-stage architecture ideas competition invites all architecture students, young architects and young professionals with a degree in architecture studies (≤ 40 years old) to develop and submit compelling ideas for the design of a Site Dwelling located on the cliff of the bay, in the village of Salir do Porto, Portugal.
Salir do Porto has a number of significant landmarks within a prominent landscape, it is a place of great cultural heritage and historical significance with characteristics that must be fully preserved.
When generating a vision for an intervention located within such a spectacular place, it is essential that each proposal emphasises, respects and celebrates the site, while provide visitors with a unique experience.
